final composite

probably doesnt look much but the slight tweaks make it alot more atmospheric the only trouble is you cant really tell with the poor quality online but here it is anyway:

composting test

composting is something which i havent yet tried so i made multiple passes of the canteen gun scene and put them together in after effect just to tweak the image. here are the passes

So having learned how to use rayfire to create the machine gun i decided to test it out on the concept canteen i made and heres the result:

the grand finale for our animation is going to be a gatling gun tearing a room apart so i have been doing some tests for this

i have been doing some test recently to enable me to use particles and physics the give our new project more realism. here is a video demonstrating gravity

Adding Enviroment

I then put it into photoshop for abit of tweaking.



Just to see how the creature would look in a scene i added a quick room and adjusted the lighting.

Making it meaner


Eb told me he thought the creature looked "too cute" so i gave it more of an mean streak.

Once I had done this i decided to add some textures just to get more of a feel for the creature but i got abit carried away.

monster update


I havent yet finished the monster but i wanted to check that the normal and cavity map would work so this was a test.

Once I had the sketch done I then used photoshop to colour it to see what sort of colours looked best.
